The firm is expanding its presence across Texas and is seeking a motivated Business Development leader who thrives on building relationships, creating market visibility, and generating new revenue opportunities. What You’ll Be Doing


Account Management & Revenue Growth

  • Build, manage, and expand accounts across an assigned Texas territory.

  • Identify, qualify, and close ideal clients in insurance, legal, engineering, construction, property management, and related sectors.

  • Conduct frequent in-person meetings, presentations, and client visits (extensive weekly in-state travel required).

  • Serve as a brand ambassador at industry events, trade shows, webinars, and networking functions.

Sales Process & Pipeline Management

  • Own the full sales cycle: research, prospecting, proposals, presentations, and contract execution.

  • Use CRM software (Salesforce preferred) for pipeline management, lead tracking, documentation, and route planning.

  • Troubleshoot sales-process issues to ensure a seamless experience for prospects and clients.

Client Onboarding, Billing & Internal Coordination

  • Lead new client onboarding and ensure smooth handoff to technical and operations teams.

  • Establish billing contacts and support accurate, timely invoicing.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Key Accounts, and Business Development leadership to deliver a consistent client experience.

Marketing & Business Development Support

  • Contribute to targeted email campaigns, webinar engagement, and private training initiatives.

  • Support quarterly business development planning.

  • Stay up to date on service offerings, industry trends, market standards, and competitor positioning.

Compliance, Reporting & Accountability

  • Maintain accurate administrative records and meet all company compliance requirements.

  • Track and report all business-related expenses according to company policy.

  • Perform additional duties as needed to support growth and client satisfaction.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or marketing experience in insurance, engineering, construction, restoration, real estate, property management, or related industries.

  • Proven ability to bring and immediately activate a portable book of business.

  • Experience working with or selling into engineering or technical environments preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms; Salesforce experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, establish trust, and influence decision-makers.
