**Location: Baltimore, MD; Tampa, FL

**Office Expectations: In-Office

**Compensation: $110k - $135k base salary + bonus

**Role Highlights:
As a Forensic Electrical Engineer with our client, you will be responsible for conducting investigations and analyzing electrical failures. Your expertise will be critical in determining the root cause of electrical incidents across various facilities, including commercial, residential, and industrial properties. You’ll have the opportunity to work on diverse cases and provide expert testimony in legal proceedings.

**What You’ll Do:
- Investigate: Perform electrical field investigations to analyze failures related to electrical equipment, wiring systems, and associated incidents such as fires, electrocutions, and lightning damage.
- Analyze: Apply electrical engineering principles to determine the cause and extent of failures, including appliance malfunctions, consumer product failures, and power system issues.
- Report: Prepare clear, layman’s terms reports documenting findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Testify: Support your findings with expert testimony during legal proceedings.
- Learn: Continuously enhance your professional expertise through training, publications, and participation in relevant industry events.

**Who You Are:
- Experienced: You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred) and have at least 7 years of engineering experience. A P.E. license is required.
- Skilled: You possess strong writing skills, with experience delivering clear technical reports. Public speaking experience is a plus.
- Independent: Able to manage investigations and client relations with minimal supervision.
- Mobile: Willing to travel as required (up to 25%) and capable of working in various field conditions.
