About the Opportunity

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Investigate: Conduct thorough on-site inspections of commercial and residential buildings to assess damage and determine failure causes.

  • Analyze: Perform engineering calculations and structural/mechanical evaluations to support your findings.

  • Report: Write clear, comprehensive forensic reports to be used by attorneys, insurers, and property professionals.


What You Bring

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in forensic engineering (structural, mechanical, electrical, or industrial).

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline.

  • License: Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in your state of residence.

  • Independence: Ability to self-manage workload, schedule, and deliverables with minimal oversight.

  • Communication: Strong technical writing and the ability to explain complex findings clearly to non-engineers.


Physical Requirements

  • Comfortable working in all outdoor conditions

  • Able to climb roofs, navigate attics, crawlspaces, and confined areas

  • Frequently required to stand, bend, reach, and walk

  • Capable of lifting and pushing up to 40 lbs
